When and where are sessions available?

Fridays and Saturdays in Lotus Health & Wellbeing Centre in Wollongong.  Lotus Health & Wellbeing Centre is located at 103 Crown St Wollongong NSW.

Is there parking available?

The Stewart St Car Parking Garage is 3 mins walk to Lotus Health & Wellbeing Centre.  It offers free parking on the weekend and weekdays after 4.30pm. There is also a number of street parking options, and paid parking at Woolworths (free for 2 hours if you spend at least $20).

What happens in a session?

In the first appointment we will review the history of your problem and start to make a change on your condition.

You will be treated while either seated or lying on a massage table. During treatments Caroline places her hands on precise points or centres of the body, to restore the energetic flow. Usually treatments don’t involve touching the body. As it’s a gentle and non-invasive treatment, it’s also suitable for babies and children.

You may feel some movements in your body while you are being treated. Most people find it very relaxing.

What is the cost for a session?

Sessions are $100 and last 75 mins. Most people after their first session choose to upgrade to a Session Package, which is a tailored set of sessions and offers a discount.

You can pay for the session by cash or card.  When you pay by card, your transaction will appear on your card statement as “Liberated Work”.

How many sessions should I book? How often should I see you?

Caroline is normally booked out a couple weeks in advance, and it’s preferable to have weekly sessions.  When you make your first booking, we suggest booking in four weekly sessions and that way you can be confident you will have sessions if you require them.  Most clients notice a change within three sessions, and some clients notice a change immediately.

What should I wear?

Wear clothes that you feel comfortable in. It’s best to wear pants for any issues relating to back or leg pain.

Before you lie on the table, you will remove your shoes, and glasses/belts (if wearing them).

Will I feel anything during the session?

It depends on the person and the condition that is being treated. Some people pain feel energy moving through channels or centres in their body. Many people experience a full-body relaxation as congested energy clears.

Is it OK to have a treatment with you while receiving other treatment?

This treatment can compliment western medical treatments, however it’s best not to undertake other bodywork while receiving treatments.  By taking a break from other types of treatments, it gives you the opportunity to track your improvement based on these treatments alone.  It also provides valuable feedback to Caroline to see the impact of sessions on your condition.

What is the confirmation and cancellation policy?

You will receive a confirmation SMS in the week before your appointment.  Please respond at least 24 hours before your appointment, or your appointment may be cancelled.

If you’re no longer able to make your appointment, please advise us at least 24 hours before your appointment.  Caroline is generally booked out for a couple of weeks, so we ask this out of respect to other clients who may be in need of a treatment.  If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee may apply.

Does this work better on some people that others?

This treatment works equally well on all people.  Some people notice a massive improvement in just one session, while for others it can take a few sessions before you start to notice a change.

Is there anyone you don’t treat?

During pregnancy, we limit our treatments to simply boosting energy, rather than any specific pain relief techniques.

Where can I learn what you do?

Caroline will be teaching a weekend course in how to treat friends and family members early 2019.  It will be limited to just 14 people, and a few people have indicated they want to join.  If you’d like to join us for this course, please email Caroline at feelbetter@liberatedhealth.com.au, so she can keep you updated.
